Dear folkies,

Hart Crane will be playing their final performance at the prestigious Lewes Folk-Rock Festival next Saturday on May 1st at All Saints Church in Lewes. Hart Crane will be in good company with bluegrass purveyors, The Huckleberries and the frenetic musical stylings of Warblefly.

Tickets for the event cost eight of your finest English pounds, or fifteen for the event on Sunday night too (featuring Hanna, Legacy and Arlen)

Tickets may be purchased from the Brighton Dome Box Office (01273-709709) However, be warned to book ahead of time as both nights sold out last year.

For more information on how to get to the venue, line-up and stage times please go the Lewes Folk Rock Festival website at www.lewesfolkrock.co.uk

The day should be glorious, no doubt about it. Harvey's Bitter will flow freely whilst Brighton's third best country band tenderly lower the corpse of Hart Crane in the Sussex countryside.

Butbutbut what will become of the members of this most unique ensemble?
Alex and Will are in the process of writing material for their new bands, Chris is the leading axeman for Actress Hands, Luke has recently recorded some solo material, whilst we are yet to hear what the plans for Bahar, Hart Crane's most illusive member are.

Americana Music Club is set to move to London later on in the year. Plans are currently afoot to organise a date later on in the summer. Watch this space.

An email of thanks to all the people who have helped the band along the way is set to follow.

Hart

Hello again,

Thanks for everyone coming down to the Pav Tav show. All three bands were great but extremely eclectic. Who says opposite don't attract? Oh, and by the way, shame on anyone who wandered upstairs later on in the evening.

The band's next show is this Sunday (the 22nd at) and sees Hart Crane return to the Brixton Windmill in London, supporting the sublime Bob Collum. Mr Collum is well established on the UK alt-country circuit and recently played the Way Beyond Nashville festival at the Borderline. Door tax on the night is £4.
-For directions on how to get to the venue please check the Windmill's website.

Some other recently confirmed dates:

1st March: Cable Club @The Brighton Pressure point (supporting Brown Courdoroy Express)

26 March: The Brighton Freebutt (supporting one of Detroits' finest the Volebeats)

2nd April: Americana Music Club @The Sanctuary Cafe, Brighton.
